Additive Masterbatch

ABOUT ADDITIVE MASTERBATCH

Nishan offers specialized masterbatches for improving production procedure and properties of the end product.
These masterbatches are modern formulations which maximize additive usage, providing plastics processors optimal functionality at minimum cost of usage. These additives include:

Antiblock

Nishan antiblock additives create a slightly rough or smooth surface, reducing friction and preventing plastic films or sheets from sticking together, making them easier to handle.

Antifog
Food packaging and horticultural films often develop surface fog due to condensation. This is especially problematic in greenhouse films, where clear light transmission is crucial for crop growth.
Antioxidat
Oxidation and heat aging cause plastics to degrade and discolor by forming free radicals that break down polymer chains. We offer various antioxidant masterbatches, including primary, secondary, and combination types, to help you choose the right solution for your product.
Antistat

Plastics are prone to accumulating static electricity, attracting dust and posing fire hazards. It’s crucial to protect sensitive electronic packaging and reduce fire risks in production environments.

Flame Retardant
Plastics are combustible due to their hydrocarbon base. Our flame retardant masterbatches delay fire spread, reduce toxic by products, and can prevent ignition.
Nucleant
Our nucleant masterbatches are mainly used to clarify or enhance the physical properties of PP resin. They influence the degree of crystalinity of polymers and increase hardness, tensile strength, modulus of elasticity and yield point, while also reducing cycle times.
Process Aid
Our range of process aid masterbatches provides customers with the opportunity to improve the properties, performance and quality of their products whilst optimising manufacturing productivity and reducing costs.
Slip
Our slip lubricants improve the flow characteristics of plastics during processing. They also reduce the frictional resistance of product surfaces, enhancing both appearance and function.
UV Stabiliser
just as protected human skin suffers from sunburn from excessive ultraviolet radiation, plastics are also damaged by exposure to light. Our range of uv stabilisers provides outstanding protection against the degrading effect of sunlight, heat and oxygen on the mechanical, optical and physical performance of plastics parts.
